Admission to the Master's programme in ‘Biomimetics: Mobile Systems’ takes place in the winter and summer semesters. The application deadlines are 15 July and 15 January.

The Master's programme in Biomimetics: Mobile Systems is a consecutive programme, i.e. its content builds on the Bachelor's programme in International Biomimetics. It is a full-time programme.
Yes. Each case will be examined individually to determine whether the applicant's knowledge of natural sciences and engineering is sufficient for the Master's programme. (see admission regulations)

Applicants who have completed a six-semester bachelor's degree programme with 180 ECTS credits must provide evidence of a further 30 credits before commencing their studies. The options for obtaining the required credits can be discussed with the HSB Examination Office. Key data can be found in the HSB's general admission regulations.
The master's programme ‘Biomimetics: Mobile Systems’ is primarily aimed at individuals with a first professionally qualifying degree in science or technology (for content, see module handbook). Both biological and engineering content is taught. Applicants to date have come from the fields of biomimetics, biology, physics and engineering (mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, transport engineering, manufacturing and process engineering). Under certain conditions, graduates from other disciplines may also apply. The general admission regulations of the University of Bremen provide more detailed information on this.
The standard period of study is three semesters, with the Master's thesis being written in the third semester.
No. There are no tuition fees for the Master's programme in Biomimetics: Mobile Systems. However, general student administration fees for the state of Bremen do apply.
